Combined Best Thursday a Success

A new experiment with the whole school is a hit among the students! Last week student council led a Best Thursday including both middle and high school students, an idea that was implemented for the first time a year ago at the first assembly of the 2017-2018 school year.

WUHSMS associate principal Ms. Lawler sent a survey out to all the students regarding how they felt about the new additions to the monthly assemblies: the middle school. The results were generally positive, and the majority of all classes would like to have this assembly setup again for the first assembly of the year going forward.

Best Thursday is traditionally just grades 9-12 and held in the auditorium. The new suggested schedule would be to have the 9-12 Best Days every month and only include the middle school in the kickoff assembly in September.
