A Dream School

The winds of change are blowing towards WUHSMS, partially in the form of the School Direction Team of teachers, students and administrators looking to modify our school for the better. This team, including members from the middle and high school levels, is trying to figure out how to make the school a cohesive group of 7th-12th grade students as well as how to improve the learning experience overall. An early step in the process of school change was the “dream school” advisory in which all middle and high school students participated in early January. Students were asked to respond to prompts about how various aspects of their “dream school” would appear, including homework, classwork, the school day, the building, teachers, and opportunities in the school system.
